Intent to return proof

How do you prove intent to return? My partner is dual nationality and we currently live in uk. He will be sponsoring us under family class. Thanks for help.

a well written explanation that shows IRCC your plans to resettle in canada. this can include: research done on industries/jobs, locations to settle in, communications with or information about realtors/landlords/rental agents, etc, letters of support from local friends/family, proof of savings, etc.

I am / was in a similar situation. I included a report from my UK financial adviser stating my intent to return to Canada by XXXX and that he had structured my investments in that way. A list of trips I had taken to Canada. Letters from Canadian friends and relatives stating how I had often spoken of my intent. Details of a Canadian bank account I had opened and transfers I had made. The SIN number I had taken out. Screen prints of membership and postings I had made on forums like this. How I had decided on where we wanted to live etc.etc.......

I included a letter from my boss stating that she knew of my intention to return to Canada and that my employment with her would terminate when my husband received his PR. I also had letters from family and friends offering a place to stay/financial help/use of their car/etc. when we arrive; a letter of good standing from my Canadian bank outlining the accounts and products I've maintained while living abroad; and correspondence with vendors for an event I'm planning in Canada in the future.

We don't have PPR yet but will buy plane tickets soon (he'll go as a tourist if necessary) because we have a family event coming up there. When we have the tickets I'll send them in as additional proof of my intention to return.
