I have a student visa with me that is valid until July 2018. I will be taking a 2 year diploma program and my intake is on January 2017. Due to personal reasons, I won't be able to make it this January 2017 and decided I will defer it to September 2017. I already informed the school and they were fine with the decision. They said they will email another LOA for September 2017 intake.
Questions
1. Should I apply for a new visa for September 2017 intake?
2. Will there be problem at the port of entry when I enter Canada in August because there is a gap from the time that I got my visa to the new intake and it is too long?
3. Will the student permit validity be the same with the student visa or I will get a student permit that valid is until the end of the program in the new LOA?
