I have an overall 6 years of experience in Health insurance, reinsurance processing. I have applied for Canada immigration under NOC 1233 ( Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners) and the application was delivered on June 2nd to Halifax.
Could you please advice when i would be likely to receive file number and what are the chances of successsful immigration under this NOC. I have submitted all the requested documents!!!
I am good by Gods grace... I hope you would have good a fair idea about canadian immigration... more than what is your designation your roles and responsibilities matters and you would have to get that in a reference letter from your employers.
There are roles and responsiblities which CIC can review and compar it with your position from the reference letter.
Where are you from??
can you please check some of the roles of claims adjusters in cci or other related websites?? i hope it would help you get some fair idea.. Please email me..
Working in the insurance domain is not enought to apply under NOC 1233. You should have experience in claims dept of an insurance company and performing most of the job activities mentioned in CIC website for NOC 1233.
If so, you are running out of time mate, there is a possibility that the occupation list for FSW may be changed at the end of June 2011 or the eligibility criteria be revised...
Yes, you are right... How many years of experience you have got? have you given reference letters? good luck.. the total application received for NOC is 409 now and two weeks ago it was around 370...
I am also a 1233, from Buffalo, applied since Dec 2010, still RBVO currently. I have over 10 yrs of exp, but I'm in the medical related insurance field. I had my 2 employers listed details of my work. I gave them a sample of what the 1233 is all about and have them specifically write the ref letters using the key words listed on there.
I hope all wil be good. Wonder who hard it is to find related work in Canada.
