Hi, I am an international student currently in a University in Canada. I have a B.Sc in Computer Science from Nigeria and since my GPA couldn't get me Masters, I was given admission to do another B.Sc in Geology in Canada. I have done one semester already and the cost of finishing will be pretty expensive.

I am looking at switching to George Brown College to do a One year Post Graduate in Network and System Security Analysis and hoping to do a diploma in Energy Asset Management at SAIT afterwards.

I would like to get the best possible advise about my decision.

I was given a 3 years visa based on the undergraduate degree. Will it in any way affect my study permit status in Canada.

Please I need the best possible advise on a decision to take.

If you opt for 1 year PG course, your SP will be valid for only 1 year + 90 days, not 3 years.

But I have already been given a 3 years study visa and I am currently in Canada.

Doesn't matter after June 14, 2014.

New rule: Your study permit becomes invalid 90 days following the completion of studies, doesn't matter if you study a 1 year or 3 year course.
