Inquiry about the format for proof of funds

Hello,
As mentioned in the requirements for Saskatchewan's EE, one has to submit the proof of funds for settlement. Kindly resolve the following queries.
1. If one has the funds available in a bank account which is a joint bank account, will it be acceptable?
2. If the funds are in his native country's bank account which is not the country from where he is applying for EE, will it be acceptable?
