Hi I would like to have more information concerning the first stage approval.
16 Jan: application was sent
18 Jan: application received
20 feb: application processing, they asked for csq.
23 March: csq sent
What’s next? How long does it take for the first stage approval?
Not really such a thing as first stage approval for inland applications. They wait until the very end to approve the sponsor. You'll receive your medical request around 7-8 months into the process and won't really hear much after that until you get to 11-12 months at which point you can expect your sponsor approval, approval in principal, and final application decision.

Ok, so I don’t know why my lawyer said so. He told me I have to wait for the first stage approval before sending a work permit. I’m wondering if it’s a trick to waist time.
