Inland spousal concern

Hello, I just want to have an advice regarding my situation. We just recently submitted our Inland spousal sponsoship and I am the main applicant with Post Grad Working Permit that will expire March 2025. We still havent receive any AOR til now. Questions: do I need to wait for AOR to be able to apply for OWP? I have a job and I dont want to loose it.

Hi,
When did you submit your application? On average it takes about 1-3 months to get AOR. However, there is a special allowance for people whose permits will expire in 2 weeks or less to apply for work permit without AOR. I put the link you can verify and see what to do in your case.

I applied last week and my permit will expire March 13, 2025. So if ever my AOR will not arrived, I can still apply. Thank you!

Yes, I hope you get your AOR before then. Otherwise just apply two weeks before expiry.
