Inland sponsorship with study permit, can I leave the country?

Good day!
This forum is wonderful! Thank you for all of your helpful posts. I am a US citizen married to a Canadian, and we just moved to Canada where I am starting a 4-year doctoral program. I have a study permit for the 4 years, and a US passport. I am applying for inland spousal sponsorship. Can I leave the country to go on family vacations of a week or so at a time? Thanks!

Yes. Short vacations seem to be tolerated under inland spousal sponsorship for 1-2 weeks.
