Hi Guys,

Do i need to provide the Birth Certificate of My Parents if i am going with Inland?

It says in the IMM 5533 that i need to provide the Birth Certifcate or Baptismal of Myself and all family Members whether they are accompanying me to Canada or Not.

IM a little bit confused, because when i checked the CIC definition for Family Members it says there :

A Family Member is:

An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to CIC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.

HOpe you can clear this one for me.

Thank You :-)
God Bless

You just answered your own question :) No you do not need to provide your parents birth certificates or any other documentation.

Hi Bhadz,

I am also planning to do inland sponsorship this year. Do you mind if we swap email address? I wish to learn from your experience. Thanks.
