My common-law partner and I have been trying to reach the office because we have not been able to book a medical appointment on time (all offices in our area book 3 months in advance and were fully booked when we received the form to get one). We're very anxious about this, so if you have any tips please let us know!
None of the times we called, were we transferred to an agent so we tried to use the webform. Got it back today, and were told that our file was transferred to Beijing, China. Is this normal? My partner is from England.
If you know the VO you can send them the webform directly about the medical exam being impossible to get within the deadline. Or there might be an email address for Beijing somewhere in your paperwork or online. I've seen various VO email addresses floating around.
I assume you told the medical clinics what your deadline is? I couldn't get an appointment at first because I was silly and didn't tell them my deadline but once I explained that it's not an upfront medical and my deadline I got in.
As for why it went to Beijing, from reading here it seems that they are sending files to whatever vo has capacity regardless of it the usual place.

I had my upfront medical for my trv. What area are you? I did mine at Brampton.
Btw, when did you sent your application?
Good luck
