Question regarding inland sponsorship. My wife is PR in Canada just a year ago and went back to philippines to marry me. now she wants to apply for inland spouse sponsorship but a bit skeptic about it since it needs sufficient money to fund my necessities. note that she has work but not full time since we have a kid also living with her. she is currently living with her family specifically with her moms house.
the question now is that.. can her mother(the one who sponsored them) act as guarantor to my wife that would ensure she can fund all my necessities when i go to canada?

Since your wife(sponsor) will be sponsoring you(applicant). She does not need to show any specific amount as financial stability or means of supporting you. Only when there is a dependant child involved in the application does there have to be a minimum amount. But a guarantor( sponsors mom) can be used, it could be beneficial to the application, but not necessary.

This is incorrect. While there is no minimum income requirement, a sponsor must be able to show that they can support themselves and their spouse in Canada, so yes, they must show means. If the sponsor is unemployed, they can show the applicant's income, savings, family assistance etc.
As I told you in another thread, there is still no minimum income requirement if there is a dependent child. The minimum income requirement only applies if a dependent child has a dependent.
