In the questionnaire about spouse sponsorship there is a question where they ask you when
your sponsor met your family and close friends for the first time, and they want you to
write the names of those people. Here is the thing, none of my siblings, mother, cousins, friends, etc live in
Canada and that is the reason they have not met my sponsor in person. However. my grandmother and my aunt came here to our
weeding a year ago, and my sponsor has had communication with some of my relatives and my mother.

So, in this case, what are you supposed to put as an answer? I mean, my sponsor has not met them in person
but they have always been aware of our relationship from the moment we got serious, and some of them have communicated with my sponsor..

Thank you in advance....

Exactly what you have just said. Write it on an accompanying piece of paper. My wife's family hadn't met me before, but is visiting. You just have to explain it in reasonable, objective terms.

Hi! Do I need to enumerate all or just a selection only? How many should be acceptable?

If it's hundreds (or even fifty) that's probably too much. A dozen or two is likely more than enough.

In our case, we only mentioned a few close friends and all the family members. The family members are backed up by statements from them, and they are present in many photos. This is probably overkill, but if we provide it now, we hope they won't ask later.
