Inland PR applicant giving biometrics outside Canada

Can I, as an inland PR express entry applicant, give my biometrics outside Canada?
I hold a study permit currently in Canada, and I am urgently traveling to my home country for a short visit and coming back to Canada. Would giving my biometrics at my home country VFS's negatively affect my PR inland application?
