Hi guys
My hubby is (finally!) going to be landing next week! He's already here on a visitors visa and we just need to flagpole at the US border. Just wondering if anyone has any experience landing at either the Woodstock/Houlton ME border or the St. Stephen/Calais ME borders? Both are about equal distance from us so I'm just wondering if anyone has had positive experiences at either.
Thanks!

Hi Kate!
your post was long time ago, so I just wonder how your experience was? cause I need to do flagpole for my wife to renew her work permit at New Brunswick borders...
Thank you very much

There are many posts in the foreign worker section. Look for those or ask your question there regarding to SOWP and flagpoling.
OP was applying to sponsor his spouse outland and BACK in the days, they needed to flagpole at the border with COPR.
This process is no longer done for outland PR landing inside Canada.
They are getting virtual landing portal and eCOPR.

I've crossed at St Stephen many times including a couple of complicated times and it's always been fine. Haven't done exactly what you're going to do, but have your papers in order and be polite, like at any border crossing and you'll be fine.
