I just received a letter from CIC stating,

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Halifax Immigration will contact you to arrange an
appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application."

I was curious...

1-what is to be expected at the interview?

2-What questions will they ask? I just don't want to come unprepared!

3-Will it be long?

4-What is this interview for?

5-how long after you received this email from CIC they emailed you for the interview? 6-

And how many days, weeks or months notice did they give you for the interview?

If anyone who has already finished or gone through this I would love as much information you can give us about this interview.

is there a chance to fail the interview? I'm so nervous!

Thanks in advance!!

Hi, congrats! It's really misleading that they call it an interview. It's not an interview at all. It's more accurate to call it a landing appointment. The only questions you'll be asked are the standard couple of landing questions (have you ever committed any crimes, do you have any dependents you didn't tell us about, etc) and then you will be a PR.

thank you for your answer! Why aren't they more to the point! But either way I can't wait. It's been a long journey and I'm
Pretty excited.
