Inland Child sponshorship question

Hello,

I applied to sponsor PR for my child without meeting the RO(H&C reasons),now that the sponsor approval is made,it is safe to assume it is a waiting game from here on for the child PPR?

Here is my timeline:

Submitted sponsorship application : 25-Dec-2018
Received AOR : 28-Jan-2019
Medical Requested : 28-Mar-2019
medicals Submitted : 29-Mar-2019
Eligibility Decision Made/SA : 30-Mar-2019
Application Transferred to Missisauga office for further processing : 4-Apr-2019

Likely but nothing is guaranteed until you receive COPR.

This forum makes me constantly feel like IRCC and CBSA are incompetent. At the border they missed the fact that you and your one son were not compliant with your RO and arriving soon before your PR cards expired with 2 visitors. Then they processed your son’s sponsorship without you being compliant with your RO and with a now expired PR card which should have triggered some questions.

You don't qualify to sponsor your child if you don't meet RO. So in my opinion, no - nothing is safe.

I was indeed taken to secondary inspection and after 2 hours of questioning i was almost ready to give up PR and file a new application.Only problem i was running into was there is no easy way to give up PR and re-file without losing job/housing/schooling/leaving Canada.
