Inland application sent - now what?

Hey there,

We sent our inland PR application (spousal) a few weeks ago. I'm just wondering what happens next. The CIC website says something along the lines of "we'll check your application and contact you". Duh, I expect that much -or that little. Specifically, what I want to know is:

- Are we supposed to hear from them before June 2015? (that's when the 11 months needed for Stage 1 would be up)
- Do all applications get transferred to a local visa office by default or only if there's a problem?

curently within an inland application, it is taking about 4 months before the visa office will send an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR). So if you don't hear about anything about them receiving your package after 4 months, you would need to start calling. After that, yes inland seems to be just a long long long wait with no communication until the visa office is ready to communicate.
