So after waiting for year and half I received CSQ today and status of my application online says they received my medical results.
I applied as an inland applicant in June 2015 got AOR February 2016 they asked for undertaking July 2016 and I received my CSW today November 2016. Looks like everything is taking 6-8 months in general.
My question is after you get medical received on online application status how long does it take for the next step?
2nd question is my visitor visa will expire in Jan 2017 should I apply for owp or extension of Visa?

I'm in no way a specialist, but I would recommend you to apply for visa extension before it expires.
We are also inland applicant (from august 2015). We got the CSQ approved on september 1st 2016. We did not do upfront medicals and so far we were not asked to do (2.5 months after getting CSQ). We still did not get sponsor approval (SA) nor acceptance in principle (AIP).

Hi brizzha, CSQ is for applicants in Quebec province only. CSQ stands for "Certificat de Sélection du Québec". If you apply from any other province, you will not need/get a CSQ.
I'm Canadian, my wife was the applicant and, yes she became PR about a year ago.
