Information required for child not accompanying

Hi, so I have a daughter, from a previous relationship who is not accompanying me to Canada. I currently am living in Canada on an IEC visa with my common law partner who wants to sponsor me (she's a Canadian citizen). My ex partner has sole custody of my daughter.

I would like to know what information needs to be provided on my application pertaining to my daughter, like do I need copies of her passport? does she need to undergo medical examination? What do I do in the instance that my ex partner is unwilling to provide me with the documents I need to support my application?
