I just want to share my experience with those who have confusion about Open Work Permit for Out of status Spouse.
My husband was illegal in Canada since 2016 and I add him in my (protected Person) Permanent Resident file, I haven't got any In-principle Approval, I applied an OWP for my husband online CIC request to provide Medical examination for him and he got his OWP for two years yesterday.
I have read many thread saying Illegal spouse not eligible for OWP unless there is an In-principle approval.
This is thread is just to share information.
