I applied for PR – Skilled Worker, in 2004 in India (New Delhi). Status – In Process – Started processing application on 25th March, 2004. Submitted documents again in July, 2008, as asked by them. Since then not heard anything from them. How long it will take.
I have two daughters doing BA LLB 1st Year and 12th. Both will finish session by June 2012. Should I apply for student visa for them? I don't want to be stuck in India for next 5 years waiting to get the PR Visa.
or
through any other way I can apply because I don't have choice in 29 categories...
My Wife's real brother stays in Canada, can it help in anyway?

Same as here. Why are you not going through PNP?Only NDVO is not working on 2004cases.CHC policies make our lives like a hell. Don't wait and go for PNP.
dear anand,
here is the similar case, rather there may be many cases like us from india. i have applied for skilled worker category in dec.2004 at the age of 45 years .Not waiting for this PR, i have sent my son after 10+2 to university of toronto for his graduation. though i have to spent a hefty amount on his study, but still it is worth it.he is employed in royal bank of canada as licensed insurance advisor since more than last one year. he had applied for his PR in canadian experienced class. so there is some satisfaction. here in india your ward may or may not get good job.so if you have resources send your daughters to canada for their bright future.rest leave it to almighty.good luck.
