Infant temporary passport

My husband is a Canadian citizen and I am a PR in canada. I am planning to deliver my baby in Singapore.What is the process for getting temporary passport for my baby.

Should I apply for proof of citizenship first and then apply for temporary passport or can I raise the request simultaneously.

Basically both work but best to check in with the High Commission consular section to see how they prefer.
