Guys,

When I take the "self-assessment" tool from CIC for FSW, I get "not eligible at this point". But, I receive 72 points when I calculate manually.

Age 29 - 12 points
My IELTS score is CLB9 qualifying for 24 points.
4 years experience - 13 points
Education Master's - 23 points

Total 72.

Should I go ahead with the application ignoring the CIC tool?

Thank you!

Ignore the self assessment. You are good to go.

Is your profession in the list of 50 occupations, do you have enough money?

Yes, my profession is in there - 2281 and I have more than enough funds (which I wasn't asked in the self-assessment test). Thanks!

In that case, start preparing documentation ASAP.

Thank you very much. I will begin the process and am currently looking into the document checklist.

One of the documents in the checklist is "Work Experience".

Sadly, I've only worked for one company and it is the only one I've ever worked with and still continue to work with.

If I request them work details on a letter head they'll clearly get a clue about my intentions and would probably damage my career.

I have Affidavits from my ex-managers and ex-supervisors from March 2014 - I gathered these for Australia PR. Would these possibly work? If not, what are my alternatives?

Thanks a lot guys!

How old are these affidavits ?

Can you get them remade?

They are 3 months old. I got these with some difficulty. Some of those who signed aren't in my city anymore.

The question then is until what date do you need to show your work exp?

If you need to show until August 2014 (for claiming points for 4 or more years lets say) then its not going to serve you purpose, will it ? All this assuming it mentions an end date.

If the letter mentions that you are a current employee or currently employed then you can attach payslips for the remaining months since when the letter is dated.

Hi Nishesh,

I'm showing 4 years of experience, and that completed on Feb 2014. My affidavits are from March 2014, so I'm good there I guess?

I guess I could still show them the payslips for the last three months as salary proof.

Thanks very much for patiently responding!

You are fine then . And yes, show the payslips for the remaining months.

Which NOC are you ?

Excellent!
