Indian TRV timeline march

Hello all,
My father-in-law applied for his Visitor visa online on March 16 in India. His status says they do not need any more documents but final decision yet to be made. Can people share their timeline. I am anxious as I need to him to be here for April 20

We submitted paper application on March 16th vfs hyderabad. .still in process..where are you from.

Did you online status ever change from "In Progress" to "In Process" or something before "Decision Made" or "Approved"?

My father submitted his file on March 15th online but nothing yet.
I am not sure how to check application status as it shows follwing:

Application status We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Yes.. decision changed to approved and I also got email from Vfs office..

Hi,
Normal processing time for online visitor visa from India is 18 business days,
So counting from March 16 - April 10 or 11 will be the 18th business day.
Processing time is counted as an average time IRCC took for 80% of the application.
After 18 business day, IRCC will ask you to send passport to get it stamped, which usually takes 7-10 business days via VFS.
some applications might get approved early, but above is the normal processing timeline.
