I am an Indian national, recently applied for Canadian citizenship which is under processing. Is there police verification in India even though we are applying for Canadian citizenship? I am sorry, I did not got the context of this post but just curious to know.

If you spent more than 183 days outside Canada you need PCC for that country. This thread is from OP who spent it in India.
