I got a PCC from Indian consulate,Chicago which states that ..."There is no adverse information against this person which would render him/her ineligible for the grant of travel facilities".
They had not specifically mentioned that "this PCC is issued for CIC" even though while sending documents to Consulate I mentioned in my letter that this PCC is required for Canadian Immigration.
My question is -Is this PCC fine for submission? Also,I read in some other threads that authorities will also stamp our passport stating that PCC was processed but no such stamp was also received on my passport.
Is it compulsory to have this stamp on passport.
Well..PCC stamp is not present on both my and my spouse passport. And now as you have also confirmed that there is no pcc stamp on your passport either..I think it should not be wrong to assume that CGI Chicago does not stamp passport while granting PCC and we should be good to go forward.
Though it will still be beneficial if other members of this forum who had their PCC certificate from CGI Chicago can share their experience also.
