Hi i gave my g1 test. but the drive test centre did not consider my Indian license.
they asked me to get the letter of authentication/verification from indian cnsulate general or from RTO India to add the experience of indian driving.
has anyone faced same thing and got letters??
If anyone can share the experience and format/matter of the letter; it would be help.

Personally, i went through the same situation as my indian license was NOT accepted. My last name shows only the first alphabet (instead of "abcdef", it is written as "a").
However, I found a way to sort this problem as I cannot wait for a year to get the license. Hence, I have written a request to Ontario ministry and provided all my documents which proves my name as legal one. I had to provide all the educational documents where my last name is the same as displayed in my license. This process took around 1-2 weeks before the decision is made and I was asked to go and give the road test ;D

No discrepancy in details. My license is 7 year old, just with shiny sticker as a stamp. They are expecting the smart card licenses with chips.
They did not consider my license as authentic.

i have my DL issued since 2004 from gujarat and i am no more living in gujarat since 2009.Now if I want exp certificate will Gujarat RTO , will they give me certificate or will they ask me to update my address first to delhi and get the exp certificate from there.
Kindly guide.
