I need some information. I do not have my birth certificate so I want to use my class 10th certificate for DOB
Now some people have said that I need to include a SSLC (Secondary school leaving certificate). I do not have any such certificate. the only one I have , is the one which says, I have passed my secondary school examination (which has my DOB and fathers name). It looks like, see below:
ALL INDIA SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION 1997
THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT (MY NAME) ROLL NUMBER (XXXX) SON OF (ZZZZ) BORN ON (MM/DD/YY) HAS PASSED THE SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION OF THE BOARD HELD IN MARCH 1997 FROM XXXX SCHOOL
IN THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS X Y Z
Is this a SSLC ?? Do you think the above certificate is more than enough with a covering letter, or do I have to go and get leaving certificate??
