I worked as a Mech. engr (NoC 2132) at Canada for 2 yrs. Plan to apply for CEC category in Noc 2132.
Now I have doubt about my educational qualification completed in India.
12 yrs schooling + 3 yrs full time Diploma in Mechanical engineering + 3 yrs B.Sc (Engineering) Degree (Done under Work Integrated Learning program , Like distance learning).
Any issue if I apply under this NOC 2132 due to my educational qualification?
You should not have any problem,
The new requirements are that you just need one year of relevant work experience within the last 3 years from the date that you apply. Schooling is no longer an issue
What you need to make sure is the educational requirements of NOC 2132. Just do a google search of NOC 2132. You will see that the requirement minimum is a "Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering" which you have already. A masters is not required but is optional based on the company requirements.

The educational requirements of your noc don't matter for the purpose if cec. Cec will not take this into account. All that matters is that your duties match.
