My parents will be helping me fund my master's degree. I have a scholarship and a GIC which I got myself but for the rest, I am putting in my parent's e-bank statements. I also have a bank certificate with the sum total of all the accounts individually in a tabular format which is attested by the bank, however, the bank statements are not attested. Will it be an issue since it belongs to a sponsor and not me? I have an affidavit as well with the amount specified in it. Is it necessary to use attested bank statements if a sponsor is funding our stay in Canada? If anyone has applied recently under similar circumstances for a non-sds I would really appreciate your insight.
If it makes any difference I have also paid a year of tuition fees minus the exemption amount.
