I have an associate who worked for us in Calgary, Alberta for 2 yeas, applied for his PR and an extension to his work permit. His new work permit states Employment Location as Manitoba and in the conditions also states " Not authorized to work in any other location than stated". This was by mistake from IRCC. He has applied to correct the change, and received a letter stating that: Please attach this letter to your present work permit Number "Uxxxxxxxxx" as proof that you are authorized to continue working under the same conditions as your original work permit until or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first.
That U number mentioned is for the wrong permit (the one with the Manitoba address)
So can the associate work for us in Alberta while he waits for his permit or not??
