Inadmissability of family member issue---please clarify the doubt.

My friend Rahul is working in Canada right now on a work permit. His brother has recently applied as a skilled worker but they denied PR and rejected his application due to failure to convince regarding his previous employment (failure to submit form 16) and he has been declared inadmissible for two years. Does this anyway affect Rahul in the future for his own immigration plan because his name was also mentioned as a family member in his brothers application.
