In Process application ---Surrey Bc

Hi ,

I applied for citizenship on Oct 4,2012, acknowledgement was mailed on Oct 13, 2012
On Ecas, status is In Process as of Jan 4,2013,
Since then no information. I called Call centre and was told that my application is still in Sydney
I am from Surrey BC and does not know when the application will get transfered to local office
any comments?

same here except mine is vancouver applied in june 2012 and in process from Jan 2013, file still in sydney...what is going on ..when will be the test??

Our application was in process on Jan. 2012 and we received the letter to take the test on Aug. 2012 for September 2012 exam (7-8 mos. waiting from in process).

kindly write your full timeline from application submitted to the exam scheduled to the oath, if you waited for 7-8 months in process ..when was the oath? thanks

It seems that CIC is doing some kind of fast processing for applicants of Scarborough region.
Many applicants from this region has got appeared in the tests or have got citizenships. But the applications from Surrey or Vancouver are still pending

Update: my husband and son's oath: May 17, 2013.

Since there's a new ruling for re-test on June 3, 2013, i am hoping to receive a notice soon

Yes, it is god to give the second chance to appear for citizenship test, but how CIC plans to expedite it is a big question

Yes, I agree with you that we don't know when it's gonna happen. But still, i just hope that it is sooner than waiting to meet the judge. I dont wanna entertain negative thoughts right now coz it won't help me anyway.
