In process and application received - Client application status

I am applying for residency with sponsorship from my fiance (Canadian).
We are being dealt with by the Ottawa office and we are currently in UK.
Until last week when I checked my application status on the CIC website, it stated 'Application in process',
but this has now changed to 'Application received' and the date it was received (21 May 14).

Does anyone know why the status has changed? Is it just a update of the CIC website or is it more significant in our application?

As usual any input would be greatly received....

Hmmmmm...that's strange..I thought it always goes the other way,as in "application recieved" first,and then changes to "in process" afterwards,just before "decision made".


I'm not sure,maybe one of the more senior members could shed some light on this?

Thanks for your reply KarlR...Has anyone else noticed anything like this or have any explanation?
