Hi

My nationality is Indian but I was working on a closed work permit for last 2 years in canada, but suddenly have to go back to India, due to some project governance changes. Though my spouse will continue in canada,alongwith my Canada born kid.

I was selected in H1b this year and this is my first time US visa. Was wondering if i could apply for stamping from Canada. I plan to come back in August as my visa is valid till April-2025.

Q1 - Will it be ok with US consulate in Canada or i need to schedule it in India only? ( My dependents are in Canada and i wanted to be attend with them)
Q2 -Do i need to produce any supporting documents?
Q3 - What is TCN? Do i need to apply as TCN? ( I saw its slots are after 1 year, so not feasible for me)

Please suggest.
