I've just to Canada with my to-be-sponsored spouse who wants to continue working remotely for her foreign employer. Am I correct is presuming that she cannot legally do so before she obtains the spousal open work permit?
 
She can do it if she is working for a remote employer that does not have clients or customers in Canada.
