I recently moved into Canada from US. I owned a car 2008 Toyota Sienna in US and wants to import it here once my family joins me. I did not list this car in my things to carry in Landing,. Please help guide me if thats a good idea and as to how much import duty will I have to pay

1. First you have to export it from the US. http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/basic_trade/export_docs/motor_vehicle.xml
2. Then it has to be imported to Canada: http://www.riv.ca/importingavehicle.aspx
Thanks.. but what if I listed the vehicle B4 Personal landing document with the list of things to be following me as duty free?
Will I still have to pay the import duty(assuming car made in North America/US)

As far as I know, if you list the vehicle as 'goods to follow' you will not be charged an import duty.
However, do keep in mind they will know if you just bought the car just as you were getting ready to land and I do believe that will cause you some issues ...
