Hi guy's, I was just checking the OP 25A and look what I discovery page 9 :
In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have:
performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation(s) as set
out in the occupational description of the NOC [R87.1(2)(b)]; and
performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all the essential
duties, of the occupation(s) as set out in the occupational description of the NOC
[R87.1(2)(c)]. Note: The “Employment Requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description are not
applicable.
So, If I really understood, You should really more take care on what you're doing Every day on your certificate of job and be more flexible with the employment requirements.
It's gonna be a problem if you're just doing some cook's duties and applying for a position of chef, but It should'nt be a problem if you are supervising cooks and you don't have any certification or diploma of cook's ...
It's more complicated than that. What you must ultimately do is convince them that you are indeed performing the duties of the NOC(s) you specify.
It's true that an applicant will not fail CEC simply because he or she does not have all of the employment or educational requirements listed in the NOC description.
However, the officers have still been known to consider previous work experience and educational credentials, especially in cases where the applicant seems to be trying to 'up-skill' (say, from a level C to a level B occupation) or trying to evade the list of banned occupations (of which cook is one).
There is at least one thread here where the officer was not convinced the applicant was a chef - I'll try to find it.

Here's one that wasn't a chef but a similar kind of story: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/26-july-2013-refusal-on-mar-2-2014-t188769.0.html
The applicant applied as a "food service supervisor" (before that occupation was disallowed) but was refused. The applicant's prior experience and educational history were specifically cited as part of the decision.
