Hey guys, I have written this post on important tips for new immigrants in Canada. Please read it here: http://shrutispointofview.blogspot.ca/2012/05/important-tips-for-new-canadian.html
I hope this helps to those who are looking forward to stay in Canada.
Senior members, I would like you to update me with any more tips you have!!
Be careful with this one; Make sure you get the proper information for the position you are applying for and familiarize your self with the company. If you are selected for a phone interview you can expect questions such as "Why do you want to work for this company?", 'Why do you want this position?"
Some places call for interviews 3 or 4 weeks after the job was listed, by then you would have applied for 800 jobs?
IMHO opinion 200 jobs a week is a bit too much, I would suggest maybe 3-7 jobs per day depending on what is listed, your skills and the requirements of the job.
Anyways, check out the blog, is a good read and there is some good advise.
Thanks for your review. I will surely consider that. I would advise you to update the same on my comment box in my blog so that other readers can view that as well.
