Implied Status OWP for Spouses of PGWP Holders

Hi,

My partner has just applied for his OWP extension, (Now that I have landed a NOC 0AB job + 3 pay slips), My question is, considering COVID-19, does an implied status work in this case? His permit expires in Nov2020 and we are suspecting that the process will take longer. What would be the process in this case? Thank you

Whose implied status? He can work under implied status since you applied while his current work permit is still valid.
