Implied Status and SIN

Hi, my visa is due to expire tomorrow and I will then be on implied status.

Does anyone know if there is an issue as my SIN number also expires tomorrow?

Do you need to renew this? Does it affect you in anyway if you do not?

I was on implied status till I received bridging open work permit and were able to continue to work using my expired SIN. You will be able to update it when you will get new work permit.

Just to further confirm the above

I called Service Canada -
1 800 206 7218
Option 3

They confirmed that you can continue to work and get paid on the expired number until a new visa or PR is issued
