Currently my application is under background check. I have query which might be the result of my overthinking but would appreciate if someone could provide an answer.

When I submitted application (AOR), I had a pending visa decision for a Schengen country, though I disclosed this pending visa application in LOE to be on safe side. Could this become a reason for extended bg check? (as ircc might take time for the schengen authority to release my visa result then ircc will take decision on my application) or am I just overthinking?

I will really appreciate any expert opinion.
