Hello,

I am planning to apply for Federal Skilled Worker category in July 2010 and want to know the NOC code as I am currently working as a Financial Analyst with duties of an Accountant. So which NOC code should I use? 1111 or 1112...as from the 38 list there is only "1111"

As I will complete one year of my experience in July 2010, can I send it my application in first or second week of June 2010 to the Sydney CIO office???...and then as I came to know that after it gets approved a person has 120 days to submit all the supporting documents to the applicable immigration office, which inb my case is CHC London.

Thanks

Are you applying as Category 1 or 3? That is, are you completing one year of experience in Canada (FSW3)? If you are FSW3, then the list of 38 is irrelevant. Use the NOC code where the job responsibilities most closely match your own.

No. You must be qualified at the time you submit your initial application.

[I will be applying from outside canada, so its category 1 I guess. My job description almost matches to an Accountant, so i'll be using the code 1111...right??]

Well then, FSW1. That means you are only eligible if your experience matches one of the NOCs on the list of 38.. . If you put NOC 1112, your application will be rejected.

so in the economic class application form they ask the code and occupation, so I should put 1111 for code and Financial Analyst for job title...is this the right way??

you should put you job title. it does not have to match the NOC job title, but the main duties and responsibilities do. Remember you have to be able to document everything...

guys i have finished master of accounting in australia now i am planing to apply for canadain PR under FSW but the problem is i am not getting enough points to qualify for it but if i do have job offer then i can be qualified for this. if anybody can help me in this matter, will be glad

Hello jes_ON..thanks for your input.

what do you mean by document everything..

HI ,I am on dependent visa in Canada as my wife is here on student visa for three year.

Can I take addmission in college without giving IELTS test as i already have Master's degree.
Or I need to go back to country of origin and do IELTS and apply for student VIsa from there ?

Please advise !

If you haven't read all the instructions yet, now's the time.

If you get a positive recommendation from the CIO, then you submit the full application to your local CHC (you said London, right). Then you have to follow the visa office-specific instructions.
