Immigration Under CEC , Minimum IELTS score.

Hi ,

I have couple of question reg PR application under CEC category.

1. I got below IELTS score

Listening- 6.0 , Read - 5.5 , write - 5.0 , speak - 6.5 - overall - 6.0

Am I eligible to apply for PR under CEC and NOC 2174.

2. I have completed 2 years and 2 months work experience and leaving Canada by 31-Dec-2012.
Can I directly send completed PR application to CIC processing center Sydney in Canada from India.
Or should I submit my application before I leave canada

Please reply as soon as possible

Sorry to tsay that you need to re-take the exam for NOC 2174

your CLB is

Listening- 6.0 , Read - 5.5 , write - 5.0 , speak - 6.5 - overall - 6.0

7.0, 6.0, 5.0, 7.0

So the rule is

•If you have qualifying Canadian work experience at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A of NOC, your test results must match the CLB/NCLC below (see chart):
◦7 or higher for each of the language abilities, or
◦6 for any one of the language abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability,

Listening 6.0 CLB Level 7
Reading 5.5 CLB Level 6
Writing 5.0 CLB Level 5
Speaking 6.5 CLB Level 8

To be eligible for CEC NOC 2174, you would need to have the following CLB Levels:

7, 7, 7, 7 OR
6, 7, 7, 8

Therefor, NO, you DO NOT qualify for CEC at this moment

All applications must be mailed to Sydney first. At the Sydney, they'll go through your application then they'll dispatch your file to the Visa Office that you put down in your Generic Form to process them.
