Hi, this is Ravi, I am a PGT English having 10 years of experience. I have done Masters in English and Bechlors in Education. I am interested to apply PR for Canada. So please let me know which lELTS exam (general training or academic) I have to give for secondary school teacher profile.
Thanks, but if I want to teach English in Canada so I have to get license of teaching from Ontario school of teaching or similar kind of institution and at the time of admission I need to show IELTS academic score.
Is this true or requirement is something else.
Thanks.
To immigrate to Canada and become a PR, IELTS general is required. IELTS academic won't be accepted.
Yes - if you want to teach in Ontario, you will most likely have to go through a certification process once you arrive. It's possible IELTS academic is required for this process. I don't know. If it is - you will have to take both tests.
