I am looking at arriving Canada with my family first and go back. thereafter come back fully after 2 years. Please confirm how many years do i need to spend outside Canada after 1st landing in order to still get the PR status and Citizenship?

For PR status you must live in Canada for 2 years out of every 5 rolling years. For citizenship you must have lived in Canada for four out of the last six years to qualify to apply.
