Immigration options for Civil Engineers

Hi,
I am a civil engineer with 10+yr work experience in relevant field. My CRS score is around 420 and is too less for Express entry. Is there any demand of Civil Engineers and Does any province offer PNP for civil engineers?

Apply directly to newfoundland province. Civil engineers are in huge demand there. You only need 1 year of work experience and ielts score of minimum CLB 7. Hope that helps

Thanks for your reply. I read somewhere that civil engineers need certifications before practicing there. Isn't that a big bar in getting jobs in canada?

Yes every engineer need to get certified; otherwise you can't practise there as a civil engineer, but for getting visa, you need to enroll in the course and need to show iccrc about proof of your enrolment in the concerned regulatory body. I think that's not a big deal.

No which Newfoundland program because you said apply directly to NFLD. SINP is not Newfoundland.

Right but which NFLD program has a pathway without a job offer for engineers without a license. That is what I am asking.

There is program mate. Just visit newfoundland province and Sinp.
I didn't say without license. You need to register for licencing, but you can move your processing forward without having to pass the exam. Hope that helps.

I am very familiar with the Newfoundland program but don’t give advice “just apply directly” without knowledge of their different programs. They require job offers (AIPP, EE). How do you know the province needs engineers. Please provide the source.

I was aware of this list. I initially mistook infrastructure engineer as civil engineer, but it got clarified later that it was not.

anyways do you have any knowledge about the chances for civil engineers to get any nomination in PNP?
