Immigration office req for processing.

Hi,
I am applying from USA currently living in New York. There is a question on IM0008 asking about :

Immigration office requested for processing this application ?

when i checked on cic website, i do see visa office in NY but that only caters for temp resident applications and not for permanent resident apps.

Can someone guide that correct answer for Q-4 on IMM-0008 would be Lon Angles, CA when applying from USA and living in East coast i.e NY.

Your visa office will be Ottawa - that is where all USA applicants get processed. They only get sent to LA or NY if they require an interview for certain reasons.
