Hello Everyone,
I have come to Canada in Dec 2019. I completed my Master's education in April 2021 and then applied for a Post graduation work permit.
So, my study period in Canada is 16 months and I got a work permit for just 16 months. However my graduation letter says that the length of the program is within 2 years. when I contacted the CIC they said that the letter of graduation was open to interpretation so they gave me the PGWP based on the length of study period showing on my transcript.
I was hopping if anyone who ran into the same issue and was successful to extend his/her PGWP can send the contact of the Immigration lawyer they consulted
Any help is appreciated !!
Thanks,
Mohamed

You can apply for reconsideration. Get in touch with your batchmates I guarantee most of them received it PGWP for 3 yrs. Yes you may need consultant for this who will charge nominal fee but worth doing it. All the best.
