Any one going to learn french in Montreal ?

Its annoying to clear B2 exam n enter into PEQ program

Does any one has idea how much time it takes to get PR after applying into Regular program – Foreign student in Québec (Alternative of clearing B2 EXam )

It takes significantly longer from what I've heard although the main problem is qualifying in the first place. Do you have enough points?

Yea I calculated my points.
I qualify for this category provided i have a job after study.
I think PEQ is much more faster than Regular program – Foreign student in Québec category

Since in this category Quebec government picks only 1600 most suitable candidates . So i think just qualifying the points is not enough provided u stand out distinctively out of all candidates ?

Any decent job in quebec would require proficiency B2 french or higher anyway so how would you get a job in the first place?

I can work as a Research Assistant after completing my program in same university as university has given this provision to students.

big problem in quebec is french. without conversational french finding a job is very difficult and surviving till u get PR is difficult as u have to stay in province till u get PR and without a job 1-2 years is a long time and also it is a gap in ur work profile.

Quebec Sucks !!!
well i wouldnt say that...if u know french then its the best place to be. if u dont know french or u dont want to learn u should look for other provinces. Montreal is a beautiful city. I love montreal just that I wont be able to stay here after graduation.

Same here, I've been in montreal for 2 years. I'd love to stay as well after graduation but my french is never going to be good enough to get a job here.

I'm not complaining, just stating the facts. We are competing with people who have been speaking french since 20 years. It's not possible to be as fluent as them.

Indians dont really have the Quebecois french accent either which makes it worse.
